Dawne has been a licensed architect for eighteen years and has nearly twenty-five years of experience working on a range of project types on the East Coast and in the Bay Area. She holds a B.S. in Architectural Design from MIT and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. In her years of experience working on multiple project types, including K-12, Higher Education, Research and Learning, Multi-family Housing and Healthcare, her most rewarding work has been when engaging with underserved communities. Dawne most enjoys thinking and designing holistically and using sustainable practice to bring meaningful change to communities in need. She took a year off mid-career to travel around the world with her husband (then boyfriend.) They visited 37 countries on a whirlwind trip that broadened Dawne’s perspective and has shaped her personal and professional life ever since. In her current role as Senior Associate and Project Manager with Moody Nolan, she relishes the opportunity to mentor young professionals and support the growth of the NYC office.
