Christian Joosse


Christian is an architect at Moody Nolan Inc., the largest African American owned firm in the United States. She focuses on transforming housing “solutions” into housing “communities” in their Housing Practice Studio through creative design interventions. She has moderated on affordable housing solutions, participated in the implementation of unhoused solutions, and designed several transformative community projects for various non-profit organizations and public-private partnerships. She takes opportunities to mentor people of all ages through programming with AIA, numerous STEM schools, design-focused summer camps, job shadowing, Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Moody Nolan’s Emerging Professionals, and school speaking engagements to maximize exposure of architecture as a profession to underrepresented minorities.
