Laboratory Planner
Nicolle (Nikki) Taylor is an Associate at SmithGroup. She was born, raised, and educated in the city of Detroit, graduating from Cass Technical High School and the University of Detroit Mercy, receiving both Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees. She has been a part of SmithGroup’s Laboratory Planning team since 2008, working on award winning local and national projects. Her hobbies include running, writing and performing poetry, interpreting church services in sign language, and participating in VOICES, a book club seeking to overcome injustices and dismantle racism through education. Nikki believes there is truth in the quote “If you can see it, you can be it.” and strives to increase the number of women and underrepresented minority leaders in architecture and allied industries.
